Cupid is a participatory performance installation by Subject to_change, that invokes Cupid's most famous actions: shooting at hearts with bows and arrows. But it is also a show that asks: which paths have we taken to get to this point? Using the structure of a field trip, Cupid wonders how we manage to find each other through constellations of infinite possibilites. What if the arrow hits the unintended heart? What if what you're looking for just isn't there? Cupid maps out routes and byways, detours and contingencies, taking twenty participants on a journey through the cosmos and into each other’s hearts.
